At RWC your greatest dilemma may be selecting from the many choices you’ll have to expand your horizons. The monthly calendar is full, with activities such as art and acting classes, board and card games, lectures, music lessons, foreign language instruction, choir practice, and shopping trips. You can attend special events such as the annual Viewpoints Lecture Series or our Mind & Muscle Series, recognized by the International Council on Active Aging as a superior program focused on total wellness. Two nature trails right on campus allow you to learn about the local habitat. Our most recent program brings together RWC residents with children from local schools for fun indoor and outdoor activities. Enjoy the well-appointed library organized by residents for residents.
RWC makes travel to area activities easy too. You and your friends can sign up to be chauffeured on one of RWC’s activity buses to dining spots, museums, theaters, and other destinations. If you need to shop but don’t want the hassle of driving, RWC provides weekly transportation to local shopping venues where you can find groceries, gifts, and household items.
